Who is Charlie Umphred?



Charlie Umphred was a former blue collar worker who found network marketing in the late 80s. He has been involved full time in network marketing since 1989 and has been a top distributor with three major companies and has had worldwide downline organizations of over 50,000 distributors.

He was featured in a major mlm company magazine "Profiles In Success" which featured the top distributors of that company and was named by an independent network marketing magazine as a top trainer. His writings and stories on the industry have been read worldwide.

When I was first approached by my business partner to look at scented candles as a business I was a bit taken aback for several reasons.

1. I dont personally burn scented candles so I didnt have any personal connection to them to judge if the product that we were looking at had value
2. I didnt know anything about the scented candle market place and my original thought was that it was a cyclical business best done during the holidays.
3. I figured that there was no room for additional scented candles in the market place because I saw them in so many different outlets, from home shopping to department stores.

Being an entrepreneur I never allow my personal beliefs to get in the way of any business decision. I did my research on the scented candles industry and found a "hidden" market place that I had no idea existed in the scented candles business.

That market place was for the candle user (many label themselves "candle freaks!") who burns candles as part of lifestyle. Candle lovers (it can be a man or woman) burn scented candles almost daily as part of their total atmosphere (lifestyle) and they are always on the lookout for the best performing candles. They will pay anywhere from $20 and up for their candles as they realize that the cost of making a quality perfumed candles requires that they pay this amount (and more).

What really amazed me about this particular market is
1. The gourmet candle lovers market is over $1 Billion!
2 There are only a handful of companies that are catering to this group.

When we test marketed our Mia Bellas candles among many "candle lovers" we had a 100% approval rating from this group who cliamed that Mia Bellas Candles was by far the best performing scented candle they had ever burned!

The other area that really excited me was that many of the gourmet candle companies were using home based direct marketing to promote their candles and all of them were doing extremely well using this system.

Mia Bellas candles are sold exclusively through the home based business system and that allows anyone who is interested in earning part time, full time or big time money the capability to get involved in a ground floor business opportunity with a 6 year proven track record that is already creating income monthly income levels that surpass 85% of the yearly income levels of most people!
